Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 x garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 tsp dry crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp coarsely-grnd black pepper
  • 8 x bone-in chicken breast halves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Cook first 8 ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, till butter melts; set aside.
  2. Sprinkle chicken proportionately with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill chicken, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) 40 to 45 min or possibly till done, turning occasionally and basting with sauce the last 10 min.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
