Green beans reggiano
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb country ham pieces
- 2 cloves
- chopped garlic
- 1/2 lb sliced portobello mushrooms
- 2 - 3 lbs tipped green beans
- 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp Ground black pepper
- 2 cups Parmigiano reggiano cheese
Directions
- In a deep, heavy-bottomed coverable pan, saute country ham and garlic in olive oil on medium heat until slightly browned.
- Add mushrooms, green beans, and sallt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour, or until desired doneness, tossing occasionally.
- Serve on a large oval platter and top with parmigiano reggiano.
