Grandmother's Rich & Creamy Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 c. Half-and-Half
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. raw long-grain rice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Mix all of the above ingredients in a casserole dish large sufficient to hold it all. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hrs. Top will be crusty and underneath it will be creamy. Let cold. Serves 8. (Thickens while cooling.)
