Georgian Cheese Pies

- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- for the filing
- 8 oz mozzarella, cut into small chunks (225g)
- 4 oz (115g) feta, crumbled
- 2 tbsp greek yogurt
- pepper
- 2 small eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Directions
- preheat oven to 350. Make the dough by sifting the flour and then mixing in the other ingredients, Add more flour if you need to--the dough should be soft but not sticky. Knead until smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces, then roll them into circles approx 9 inches with 2 just slightly bigger and the other 2. Put the slightly larger circleson 2 buttered baking trays.
- Mix all the filling ingredients together and divide it between the 2 larger circles. leaving an edge of about 1 inch. dampen the edges of the dough with water, then lay the slightly smaller circles on top. fold the edge of the larged base over the top cirled of dough. brush with the melted butter and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. serve hot cut into squares or wedges
