    Ingredients

    • Rolled Oats – 1 cup
    • Honey – 2 tsp
    • Dry Ginger Powder – a pinch
    • Cardamom Powder – a pinch
    • Mixed Fruits – 1 cup, finely chopped (guava, mango, papaya, jackfruit and pomegranate or as desired)

    Directions

    Aval is also known as Flattened Rice/Poha/Chivda. This is a quick and easy snack recipe using readily available ingredients. No cooking necessary.

    Method:

    1. Wash the oats in enough water and drain well.

    2. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.

    3. Keep aside for 2 minutes.

    4. Serve at once.
