Fried Sweet Plantains
Ingredients
- 4 x Ripe plantains Vegetable oil for frying Salt to taste
Directions
- Preheat the fryer.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the plantains, diagonally, about 3/4-inch thick. Fry the plantains in batches till golden brown-brown, about 3 to 4 min. Remove the plantains from the oil and drain on a paper-line plate. Season with salt and serve as a garnish or possibly accompaniment with roast pork.
