French Apple Dessert
Ingredients
- 6 c. Tart apples peel/thin slice
- 1/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1/4 c. Skim lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine softened
- 3 x Egg whites or possibly 1/2 c.
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Bisquick reduced fat baking mix
- 1 c. Bisquick reduced fat baking mix
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts
- 1/3 c. Packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Hard margarine
Directions
- 1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease 13x9x2" baking dish. Prepare Streusel; reserve. Spread apples in dish.
- 2. Beat remaining ingredients in blender on high speed 15 seconds; with hand beater or possibly wire whisk beat for 1 minute or possibly till smooth. Pour over applies. Sprinkle with streusel.
- 3. Bake about 55 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cold at least 10 min. 12-15 servings.
