Filet Mignon Steaks with Tarragon Mushroom Cream Sauce
Delicious tender Filet Mignon easy prep and a delicious stay at home date night meal! Ingredients
- 2- 6 ounce Filet Mignon (about 3/4"-1" thickness)
- Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup sliced White Button Mushrooms
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Tarragon
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Corn Starch
Directions
- Using a grill or griddle pan heat on medium high prepare the steaks with seasonings both sides, cook to your desired doneness
- For the Sauce: In a saucepan add heavy cream, cornstarch whisk well, add button mushrooms, tarragon and cook 5-6 minutes until heated and creamy consistency
- Plate Filets add several spoons of Sauce and Enjoy!
