  • Family Favorite Meat Loaf

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt McCormick(r) Bag 'n Season(r) Meat Loaf
    • 2 slc bread, crumbled*
    • 3/4 c. ketchup, divided
    • 2 lb grnd chuck or possibly lean grnd beef
    • 1 Tbsp. flour
    • 1 x egg

    Directions

    1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Arrange opened roasting bag in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Add in flour to bag; shake to coat well. Combine seasoning mix with bread, egg, and 1/4 c. ketchup in a large bowl. Add in meat; mix well. Shape into a loaf, about 8 x 4 inches.
    2. 2. Place meat loaf in bag. Pour remaining ketchup over meat. Close bag loosely with nylon tie. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
    3. 3. Bake in lower half of oven 1 hour. Let stand 5 min. Cut open bag; remove meat loaf.
    4. *May substitute crumbled bread with 3 Tbsp. unseasoned dry bread crumbs.
