    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Dry chick peas or possibly fava beans, called garbanzo also
    • 1 med Onion diced
    • 1 med Potato, peeled, and diced
    • 1/4 c. Tahini (sesame seed paste)
    • 2 tsp Baking soda
    • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
    • 1 tsp Grnd black pepper
    • 1 tsp Grnd coriander
    • 1 tsp Grnd cumin

    Directions

    1. My name is krishna and I will give recipe for vegetable burger. i hope you will like it. I got these from the some person from the newsgroup
    2. 1. inspect and rinse the chick peas or possibly fava beans. Then soak, in cool water,. for 24 hrs in the refrigator.
    3. 2. Drain the peas or possibly beans. Then put everything, except baking soda into a food processor. Blend till moderately smooth.
    4. 3. Put the mix into a coverved bowl and let sit for 2 or possibly 3 hrs. When ready to coo, mix baking soda.
    5. 4. Shape 1/2 c. amounts into round patties. Then fry, in a lightly oiled pan, or possibly broil/bbq till cooked all the way through.
    6. 5. Serve with whole grain bread, tomatoes, lettuce and sliced cheese.
    7. Replace the onion with green pepper, shape the patties into cylinders, and have "VEGI DOGS"
