Falafil (Veggie Burger) Lebanon
Ingredients
- 1 lb Dry chick peas or possibly fava beans, called garbanzo also
- 1 med Onion diced
- 1 med Potato, peeled, and diced
- 1/4 c. Tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1 tsp Grnd black pepper
- 1 tsp Grnd coriander
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin

- 1. inspect and rinse the chick peas or possibly fava beans. Then soak, in cool water,. for 24 hrs in the refrigator.
- 2. Drain the peas or possibly beans. Then put everything, except baking soda into a food processor. Blend till moderately smooth.
- 3. Put the mix into a coverved bowl and let sit for 2 or possibly 3 hrs. When ready to coo, mix baking soda.
- 4. Shape 1/2 c. amounts into round patties. Then fry, in a lightly oiled pan, or possibly broil/bbq till cooked all the way through.
- 5. Serve with whole grain bread, tomatoes, lettuce and sliced cheese.
- Replace the onion with green pepper, shape the patties into cylinders, and have "VEGI DOGS"
