Easy To Roll Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter. Add in sugar and 1 beaten egg and add in vanilla. Slowly add in flour mix to butter and sugar mix. Refrigeratea minimum of 2 hrs. Roll out on floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. Bake at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet till lightly golden brown.
