Easy Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients
- 4 green peppers
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 2 c. cooked rice (2/3 c. raw)
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (16 ounce.) jar tomato sauce
Directions
- Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, cooked rice, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 c. of sauce. Pile mix into peppers in large baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover tightly and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hrs or possibly till peppers are tender, basting occasionally. Makes 4-6 servings.
