Easy Garlic Fried Rice Filipino Style
This is the common breakfast of Filipinos. Usually being paired to dried fish, eggs, coldcuts like hotdogs and ham. Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice (leftover rice is OK)
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp canola oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- Spring onion, garnish (optional)
Directions
- Melt the butter together with the oil in a hot pan.
- Saute the garlic until golden brown.
- Add the rice.
- Stir thoroughly until every rice is covered with the butteroil
- Cook for 5minutes to make sure the garlic and butter are infused well in the rice.
- Sprinkle with fresh spring onions.
- Serve.
