Easy Crock Pot Chili Beans
These require no real work, no soaking, no defrosting, just dump it into a crock pot go to bed and by morning you have dinner or plug in the pot prior to work and come home to a hearty dish. Ingredients
- 1 lb pinto beans
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 15 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic chopped
- 2 1/2 Tbs. chili powder
- 2 Tbs. dried cumin
- 1 Tbs. red pepper flakes
- 8 Ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 Tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tsp salt
Directions
- Place crock pot liner in crock pot.
- Place dried beans (no need to soak them) chopped onion, ground beef and all other items into the crock pot.
- Add 2 cups of water on top everything.
- Lid the pot and set on low.
- Allow to cook for 8 hours,
- Top with cheddar cheese, diced onions, avocados etc
- Serve with crusty bread.
