Easy Cream of Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- 2 gal 1 qt tomato juice
- 3 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 Tbsp, 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 12 oz margarine
- 1 1/2 cup flour
Directions
- Add onion, bay leaves and seasoning to tomato juice. Heat to boiling point.
- Add soda.
- Melt margarine and add flour. Stir until blended. Cook 5 minutes.
