Easy Chop Suey
Ingredients
- 3 pound beef
- 3 pound pork
- 2 onions, minced
- 1 c. minced celery
- 3 cans chop suey
- Vegetables
- 1 1/2 c. brown gravy
- Molasses
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. cornstarch
- Cooked rice
Directions
- Cut beef and pork into bite-sized pcs. Combine beef, pork, onion and celery; place small amount of fat in saucepan. Add in meats mix; cook, stirring till lightly browned. Add in chop suey vegetables and 3 vegetable cans water; simmer for about 2 hrs. Stir in molasses and soy sauce. Blend cornstarch with 1 c. cool water; stir into meats mix in saucepan. Cook, stirring, till thickened. Serve over rice.
