Dutch Babies With Ham
Ingredients
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 8 tsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 x Large eggs Butter for pans Flour for dusting
- 1 c. diced cooked ham
- 2 x apples - (to 3) peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 x lemon
Directions
- Combine whipping cream with flour and salt. With a fork beat in Large eggs till all ingredients are proportionately blended. Butter four 8-inch round foil pie pans very heavily and dust with flour.
- Arrange 1/4 c. diced ham in the bottom of each pan and divide the batter proportionately among the pans. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min or possibly till golden around the edges.
- Mix the sliced apples with lemon juice and lightly saute/fry in a small amount of butter till translucent/soft. Sugar and cinnamon may be added if you like. Sugar each "baby" with 1/4 of the apples and be prepared for rave reviews!
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
