dried apricot/goat cheese/almond hors d"oeuvres
delicious and easy, but be sure to use Marcona almonds (I found them at Costco of all places) Ingredients
- 40 dried apricots (use the best you can find)
- 4 oz. fresh goat cheese such as Laura Chenel at room temp.
- 2 T finely chopped fresh basil
- 2 T milk
- 40 Marcona almonds
- 2 t honey
Directions
- mix together goat cheese, milk and basil with a wooden spoon until spreadable
- spread a heaping 1/4 tsp on each apricot and top each with an almond
- drizzle with honey
