Dill Pickled Okra
Ingredients
- 1 kg Okra pods A few celery leaves,
- 1 x Clove of garlic, peeled _ and split
- 1 sprg dill
- 2 slc Pimento
- 2 2/3 c. water
- 1 2/3 c. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Salt
Directions
- Scrub okra, pack into 4 jars.
- In each jar insert the spices.
- In a saucepan bring the pickle solution to the boil. Stir well and pour boiling liquid over okra and seal tightly. Let stand 3 weeks before serving.
