    Ingredients

    • 1 stick butter
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
    • 1 c. flour
    • 2 c. sugar
    • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
    • 2 c. fruit (blackberries, cherries, rhubarb or possibly any fresh fruit in season, liquid removed frzn or possibly canned fruit)

    Directions

    1. Place butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Allow it to heat in a hot oven (250 degrees). While this is melting, make a batter by adding baking pwdr, 1 c. sugar and lowfat milk to flour. Remove baking dish from oven and proportionately spread out the butter. Pour batter over butter and Don't Stir. Add in 2 c. of fruit of your choice (for rhubarb, sprinkle a little red Jello over all). Sprinkle 1 c. sugar over the fruit. Don't stir. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min.
