    Well-Flavoured and carefully prepared sauces can make such a difference to even the simplest of dishes that it is worth while knowing which sauces suit various foods.This particular simple yet very falvourful sauce goes really well with curied fish,eggs,or baked curry chicken or just as a plain dip for any f the fried yummies.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp very finely chopped onions
    • 2 tbsp chopped apples
    • 2 tbsp curry powder
    • 2 tbs flour
    • 1 1/4 cup stock(any stock-I used chicken stock)
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp any fruit relish
    • 2 tsp lemon juice
    • 1 tsp raisins
    • 1 tbsp cream cheese
    • 1 tbsp very finely chopped coriander leaves

    Directions

    1. melt butter in a deep fry pan,fry onion lihtly,then the apple,and lastly the curry powder and the flor.
    2. Stir in the stock gradually and add salt.
    3. Bring to the boil and skim,ththen add the remaining ingredients.
    4. Simmer with lid on for about 30 mins on low to med,stirring frequently to avoid burning.
    5. Use this for curried fish,eggs and so on.
