Cubed Steaks, Country Style
Ingredients
- 4 cubed steaks
- 3 tbsp. fat
- Flour, salt and pepper
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. water
Directions
- Heat fat in skillet; dip steaks in flour and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown with onion in warm fat. Prepare remaining ingredients and pour over steaks. Cover and cook slowly till meat is fork tender, about 20 min. Add in a little water if it gets too thick.
