Crock Pot Chili Con Carne
Ingredients
- 4 lb Grnd beef
- 3 Tbsp. Shortening
- 2 c. Minced onion
- 2 x Garlic cloves crushed
- 4 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
- 3 x Beef bouillon cubes crushed
- 1 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. Beef stock
- 1 can Tomatoes 28 ozs.
- 1 can Tomato paste 8 ounce.
- 4 can Red kidney beans 1 lb cans
Directions
- Heat shortening in skillet and brown beef, throw away fat, Combine all ingredients in removable liner, stirring well. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hrs; high 4-5 hrs or possibly auto 6-7 hrs
