  • Creamy Cheese Fondue

    Ingredients

    • 2/3 c. Dry white wine or possibly apple juice
    • 2 c. American cheese, shredded
    • 1/8 tsp Dry mustard
    • 3 ounce Cream cheese with chives, softened Cubed bread, fruit wedges or possibly veggies

    Directions

    1. In medium saucepan, heat wine or possibly juice till just bubbling. Add in American cheese and mustard. Stir unitl melted, smooth and bubbly. Lower heat and stir in cream cheese cooking and stirring over low heat until smooth.
    2. Trasfer mix to heated fondue pot and keep bubbling for good dipping consistency.
    3. To Microwave: use only 1/2 c. wine or possibly juice and put everything except dippers into a 1 qt casserole dish. Nuke on 100% or possibly high for 4 -5 min or possibly until melted and bubbly. Stir every minute. Serve as above.
