Cranberry Walnut Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 c. Minced dry cranberries
- 1/2 c. Minced walnuts
- 2/3 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
Directions
- Heat oven to 450 degrees. Stir all ingredients till soft dough forms. Drop dough by 10 to 12 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min or possibly till golden. Serve hot. 10 to 12 biscuits. High Altitude Directions (3500 to 6500 feet): Heat oven to 475 degrees.

- notes: These went well with game hens, pecan-cornbread stuffing and sweet potato casserole. The dry cranberries should be soaked (orange juice would be good) to plump them. They were easy and delicious biscuits.
