Cottage Cheese Dessert Salad
Ingredients
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cool water
- 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 T lemon juice
- Dash of Tabasco
- 1 T sugar
- Salt to taste
- Salad greens
- Mixed diced fruits and berries
Directions
- Sprinkle gelatin on cold water; dissolve over hot water; cool slightly. Put together cottage cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in gelatin. Whip cream; mix in with lemon juice, Tabasco, and sugar. Add in salt to taste. Spoon into 5 cup ring mold; refrigerate till hard. Unmold. Garnish with salad greens. Fill center with fruit. Serve lowfat sour cream dressing separately. Makes 8 servings.
