Corn Potato Chowder
Ingredients
- 2 med Potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 med Onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1/2 c. Minced celery
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 x 17 ounce. Can Whole kernel corn
- 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/4 tsp Dry marjoram
- 5 slc Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled Butter or possibly margarine
Directions
- In medium saucepan combine potatoes, onion, salt and water. Cover and cook till vegetables are tender - about 15-20 min. Stir in undrained corn, lowfat milk, marjoram and a dash of pepper. Heat through.
- Serve garnished with bacon bits and a pat of butter or possibly margarine.
