Corn Grilled In Husks With Chive Butter
Ingredients
- 4 x ears of corn in husks vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. snipped chives Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- 1. Gently peel husks away from corn, about two-thirds of the way down; remove silk, then replace husks around corn covering kernels as much as possible (if you wish, tie a string around tip of corn to keep husks in place.)
- 2. Soak in cool water 15 min.
- 3. Brush outer husks lightly with oil.
- 4. Roast on grill 15 to 20 min, turning 3 to 4 times till kernels are tender.
- 5. While corn grills, heat butter in small saucepan; stir in chives.
- 6. Pull husks back or possibly remove completely.
- 7. Brush corn with chive butter.
