Cider Pork Chops
The classic combination of pork and apples comes together in this quick, easy and delicious recipe. Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 4 bone-in pork loin chops
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ tsp. dried thyme
- 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
Directions
- In a large re-sealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add pork chops, seal bag, and shake bag to coat chops.
- In a large skillet, brown chops in oil over medium heat. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- Using the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic and thyme for 2-3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Return pork chops to the pan. Add cider and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 7-8 minutes or until chops are cooked through.
