Chuckwagon Baked Beans
Ingredients
- 2 can (16-18 ounce) pork & beans
- 1 x Packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/2 lb Salt pork, cut in strips
- 1/2 c. Ketchup
- 1/2 c. Minced green onions, with some tops
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients & pour into a 2- to 3-qt casserole. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 2-1/2 hrs or possibly till sauce is thick & beans are dark & crusty on top. If time is short, you may decrease cooking time to 1 hour, but the beans won't be as tasty.
- Makes 8 servings.
