Chocolate Mint Dessert
Ingredients
- 10 ounce. Oreo cookies, crushed (use whole cookie)
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 4 ounce. German Sweet Chocolate
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk (small can)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 gallon chocolate chip mint ice cream (softened)
Directions
- Reserve 2/3 c. crushed Oreo. Mix remaining Oreos with 1/4 c. melted butter. Press in 9 x 13 pan. Chill.
- Heat chocolate, add in 1/2 c. butter, sugar and evaporated lowfat milk. Boil over medium heat for 4 min, stirring constantly. Add in vanilla, cold. Spread over crust. Refrigeratein freezer till set. Spread ice cream over chocolate layer. Sprinkle reserved Oreos over top. Freeze.
