  • Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. Chocolate Syrup
    • 1/3 c. Semisweet Chocolate Chips
    • 2 c. Crisp Rice Cereal
    • 1/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
    • 4 c. Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, softened

    Directions

    1. Coat bottom and sides on an 8-inch pie plate lightly with butter.
    2. Combine chocolate syrup and chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high till warm, about 45 seconds. Stir till smooth.
    3. Reserve 1/4 c. of the chocolate mix.
    4. Combine remaining chocolate mix and cereal in a medium bowl and mix to coat cereal. Press mix over bottom and up sides of prepared pie plate.
    5. Freeze till hard, about 15 min.
    6. Combine reserved chocolate mix and the lowfat sour cream in a small bowl and mix well. Spread half the ice cream in the prepared pie plate. Drizzle with half the lowfat sour cream mix. Top with remaining ice cream and drizzle with remaining lowfat sour cream mix. Freeze pie, covered, till form, about 1 hour.
