Chocolate Almond Pie
Low Carb Pie that can be made with any nut butter. Ingredients
- crust-
- 1 1/2cups almond flour
- 2TBS cocoa powder
- 2 TBS sweetner (splenda, xylitol ect)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
- 1/4tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- filling-
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup plus 3TBS powdered sweetner divided
- 2 TBS coconut oil
- 1 cup whipping cream
Directions
- preheat oven to 300F
- combine crust inngrediants
- press intjo bottom and up sides of 9 inch pie dish
- bake 12-15 mins or until golden brown
- let cool
- filling-
- mix cream cheese & 3 TBS sweetner and coconut oil
- in a separate bowl whip cream & 3TBS sweetner until light and fluffly.
- Fold in the reaming whipped coconut cream and pour into the pie shell.
- Refrigerated for 1-2 hours or until set.
