Chicken With Mint And Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 4 x Chicken breasts - skin removed
- 8 x Rashers of unsmoked streaky bacon
- 3 ounce Cream cheese, (75g)
- 1/2 x Dessert apple - finely minced or possibly grated
- 1/4 tsp Schwartz Mint
- 2 tsp Schwartz Onion Pepper Generous healthy pinch Schwartz Garlic Granules
- 1 tsp Schwartz Chives Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
Directions
- Using a shape knife, make a pocket in each chicken breast. Flatten the bacon using a large knife. Mix the cream cheese, apple, Mint, Chopped Onion, Garlic Granules and Chives together. Season with salt and Pepper.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the mix then wrap with the bacon to create a neat, sealed parcel. Place in a shallow roasting tin, brush with oil and lemon juice and bake at 400F, 200C, Gas Mark 6 for 30 min till golden brown.
