Chicken Fricot
Ingredients
- 1 x 5 lb chicken,cubed
- 1/4 lb Salt pork
- 2 med Onions,diced
- 1/2 tsp Oregano Salt Pepper
- 1 c. Cool Water
- 4 med Potatoes,diced
- 1/4 c. Flour
- 2 med Carrots,diced (optional)
- 8 c. Boiling water
Directions
- Cube salt pork and cut chicken into cubes.Fry pork till golden brown,set aside. Add in chicken and fry till brown.Put everything into a large pot and cook till meat is tender.Blend flour and cool water and add in to the fricot to thicken it.Summer savory may be also added for extra flavour.
