  • Chicken And Ham Lasagna

    Ingredients

    • 8 ounce lasagna noodles
    • 1/4 c. margarine
    • 1/3 c. flour
    • 1 Tbsp. dry chopped onion
    • 1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 2 c. chicken broth
    • 1 c. lowfat milk
    • 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
    • 4 ounce canned mushroom pcs
    • 1 pkt frzn asparagus or possibly cut broccoli, thawed
    • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken or possibly turkey
    • 6 ounce mozzarella cheese, sliced
    • 1 1/2 c. cubed cooked ham
    • 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese

    Directions

    1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Rinse and drain. In saucepan, heat margarine. Blend in flour, onion, garlic pwdr and pepper. Add in chicken broth and lowfat milk. Cook and stir till bubbly. Stir in 1/2 c. of grated parmesan cheese and mushroom pcs. In 13x9" pan layer half of noodles, asparagus or possibly broccoli, chicken or possibly turkey and mozzarella cheese. Top with half of sauce. Add in cubed cooked ham, rest of noodles, rest of sauce and second half c. of Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 f. for 35 min. Let stand for 10 min. before cutting. Can be made ahead, refrigerated and bake for 45-55 min.
