Chicken Adobo Aloha
This is one of the many versions of Adobo, a dish loved by most filipinos. Ingredients
- 500g of chicken chicken, cut into desired serving size
- 1 small can of pineapple tidbits (drain syrup and set aside)
- 6 cloves of garlic, crushed and fried to brown
- marinade:
- 4 cloves of crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp of cane vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp of crushed peppercorns
- pineapple syrup
Directions
- Marinate chicken for 30 minutes.
- Drain and reserve marinade.
- Fry chicken in oil until the color turns brown.
- Combine chicken with marinade and then simmer until chicken in tender.
- Season with sugar to taste. Add the pineapple tidbits and top with fried garlic.
