Chicken Adobo In Coconut Milk (Adobong Manok Sa Gata)
Ingredients
- 3 lb Chicken cut into pcs
- 1 1/2 c. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 6 Tbsp. Garlic (finely chopped)
- 1/2 c. Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Black Pepper(freshly grnd)
- 2 x Bay Leaves
- 1 Tbsp. Peppercorns
- 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar (optional)
- 12 ounce Coconut Lowfat milk (1 can) x Salt or possibly Patis to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and marinate for two hrs. Boil mix until chicken is tender. Separate sauce from chicken and broil chicken till brown. Reduce the sauce over moderate heat to half and pour over chicken.
- Serve Warm with rice.
