  • Cherry Cheese Brownie Bars

    Ingredients

    • 1 (21.5 ounce.) pkg. Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
    • 2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 egg
    • 1 (14 ounce.) can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
    • 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 (21 ounce.) can cherry pie filling

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package except bake 20 min. Beat vanilla, egg, lowfat milk and cream cheese in large bowl till smooth. Pour over baked brownie layer. Bake till topping is set, 25 min. Cold 2 hrs; spread with pie filling. Cut into 1 1/2" or possibly 2" squares. Store in refrigerator. 48 small or possibly 24 large brownies.
    2. High Altitude Directions (3500 to 6500 feet) : Stir 2 Tbsp. Gold Medal all-purpose flour into brownie mix (dry). Increase first bake time to 25 min.
