  • Cheese Corn Flake Cookie

    Ingredients

    • 1 x 8 ounce pkg sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 1 c. flour
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp paprika
    • 1/4 lb bacon (optional)
    • 1 1/2 c. corn flakes

    Directions

    1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees F. Fry bacon till crisp. Drain on paper towels. Cold and crumble fine. Set bacon aside. Reserve drippings for another use. Have cheese at room temperature. Grate. Cream with butter.
    2. Mix with flour, salt, paprika.* Toss bacon crumbs gently with corn flakes. Add in them to the mix with a fork so as not to crush flakes.
    3. Healthy pinch off piece of dough, roll marble size. Press down on ungreased cookie sheet. Don't roll out, press down lightly to keep from crushing corn flakes. Bake. makes about 50 cookies.
