Cheese Ball With Marinated Dried Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 3 x (8 ounce) pkgs cream cheese softened
- 1 x (7 ounce) jar oil-packed dry Tomatoes, liquid removed
- 1 x Clove garli
- 2 tsp Dry basil
- 1/2 c. Coarsely minced pine nuts Or possibly almonds, toasted
Directions
- Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add in first 4 ingredients.
- Process till smooth. Cover and refrigerateat least 3 hrs. Shape 1/2 c. mix into a boil; roll in toasted pine nuts or possibly almonds, pressing gently to make nuts adhere. Repeat procedure with remaining mix and nuts.
- Wrap each ball in plastic wrap. Chill.
- Yield 6 (1/2-c.) gifts. Directionsfor gift card: Store Cheese Ball with Marinated Dry Tomatoes in refrigerator up to 5 days. Serve with unsalted crackers.
