    1 POUND ORGANIC CARROTS, ALMONDS WITH HONEY & RASINS IF DESIRED. SINCE MY DOG LOVED THIS RECIPE WITH ALMONDS, LEFT THE RASINS OUT! BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES IN A 1 QUART GLASS SQUARE DISH.

    Ingredients

    • 1 POUND ORGANIC CARROTS, PEELED AND THINLY SLICED.
    • 1/4 CUP ORGANIC EARTH BALANCE OR BUTTER, MELTED
    • 1 TBSP. LEMON JUICE, FRESH-JUICE OR ORGANIC IN BOTTLE.
    • 3 TABLESPOONS ORGANIC HONEY
    • 1/4 CUP RASINS (IF NOT FEEDING TO A DOG)
    • 1/4 TEASPOON ORGANIC GROUND GINGER
    • 1/4 CUP ORGANIC SLICED OR SLIVERED ALMONDS -TOPPING ADDING MORE AS NEEDED TO COVER TOP.

    Directions

    1. COOK CARROTS, COVERED IN 1/2 INCH BOILING WATER FOR 8 MINIUTES.
    2. DRAIN CARROTS AND PUT INTO A 1 QUART BAKING DISH.
    3. POUR THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS OVER THE CARROTS.
    4. TOP WITH THE ORGANIC SLICED OR GROUND ALMONDS.
