Caramel Chocolate Pecan Bars
Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Land O'Lakes sweet cream butter, softened
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 2/3 c. Land O'Lakes sweet cream butter
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butterscotch chips
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl put together all crust ingredients. Beat on low speed, scraping bowl often, till particles are fine (1-2 min). Press onto bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle pecans over crust.In 1 qt saucepan put together butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix comes to a full boil (4-5 min). Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly; pour over pecans. Bake for 18-20 min or possibly till filling is bubbly. Immediately sprinkle with butterscotch and chocolate chips. Allow to heat slightly (3-5 min). Slightly swirl chips as they heat; leave some whole for marbled effect. Cool completely. Yield 3 dozen.
