Cambodian Table Sauce
This sauce is found on most tables in Cambodian homes. It is used to garnish many grilled seafood and beef dishes. Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 fresh red chilies of your own heat choice, stemmed and seeded
- 1/2 cup water
- 2tbsp fish sauce,found in most markets today
- juice of 1 fresh lime
- 3 tbsp sugar
Directions
- Combine garlic, chilies and water and liquefy in a blender or food processor.
- Mix together with fish sauce, lime juice and sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
- Bottle and refrigerate,
- Double recipe if desired.
