    A delicious double baked cake bar for breakfast or teatime.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup Butter ,softened
    • 1/2 cu Castor sugar
    • 3 Eggs
    • 1 cup Plain Flour
    • 1 tsp Baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
    • Few drops Yellow Food Color,optional

    Directions

    1. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
    2. Add in eggs,one at a time. Beating well after each addition.
    3. Add essence and color.
    4. Fold in sieved flour and baking powder mixture.
    5. Pour in a greased and lined cake Rusk tin or 7" square pan.
    6. Bake at 180 C for 20-25 minutes.
    7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
    8. Now cut it in center and then cut each half in thin slices.
    9. Arrange on lined baking tray and bake at 150 C for 15 minutes.
    10. Turn the side of cake slices and bake again for 15 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
    11. Remove and let cool completely on a wire rack.
    12. Store in an airtight container.
