    Restaurant style Buffalo wings.

    Ingredients

    • 12 Wings (or chicken tenders)
    • 12 oz Frank’s RedHot Sauce
    • 4 oz butter (more for milder, less for hotter)
    • Juice of half a medium sized lemon
    • Black Pepper
    • Flour for dredging
    • Cayenne pepper or Tabasco for extra heat
    • 1/2 packet Good Seasons Italian dressing mix

    Directions

    1. Cover wings in flour.
    2. Fry in hot oil.
    3. Let drain on wire rack.
    4. Melt butter in pan but do not allow to boil.
    5. Add RedHot Sauce, lemon juice and dressing mix or seasoning mix and stir.
    6. Heat but again do not boil.
    7. Add wings to a large bowl or bag for coating wings. Add sauce and shake or stir to coat well. Remove wings and serve with celery and blue cheese or ranch dressing.

Just made these with chicken tenders. I didn't have any Italian dressing mix, so I used a bit of Southwest Ranch dressing mix. They were still yummy!

These are not traditional Buffalo Wings, or the one created at Anchor Bar.

I'm often told by people from Buffalo that this is the real deal. I can't figure out why you think they are not traditional. The traditional sauce is always Franks and butter, only the herbs and vinegar or lemon changes.
