Brown Rice Salad
My simple diet meal. Ingredients
- 2 cup cook brown rice
- 100gm golden raisin
- 50gm toasted cashew nuts
- 1 sprig mint leaves
- 1 sprig coriander
- 2 leaves of lettuce
- 3 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp wocestershire sauce
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp olive oil (optional)
Directions
- 1/ Chopped the coriander and mint leaves.
- 2/ Cut the lettuce into thin strip
- 3/ Mixed the cooked rice with cashes nuts, raisin, mint leaves, coriander, lettuce and mixed well.
- 4/ All soya sauce, wocestershire sauce, lemon juice, sugar, pepper and toss well.
- How to cooked brown rice
- 1/ Wash and rinse brown rice 3 to 4 times.
- 2/ Soak brown rice with some water for 1 hour.
- 3/ Drain off water, add enough hot water and cooked the rice in rice cooker or steam for 1 hour.
- 4/ Fluff up the rice and add the salad ingredients. Enjoy!
