Bradford French Toast With Raspberry Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 3 Tbsp. Water
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 8 x French bread, Cut 1 Inch Thick
- 2 c. Crushed corn flakes Confectionery sugar
- 1 pkt (10 ounce.) frzn raspberries, thawed
- 1 c. Lowfat sour cream or possibly plain yogurt
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 pt Fresh raspberries
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Dip the bread slices into the mix and then coat each slice with cereal. Heat a buttered skillet and cook each piece till golden brown and crisp. To serve, place two pcs of toast on each plate and sprinkle with confectionery sugar.
- Garnish with Raspberry Cream and fresh raspberries.
- Raspberry Cream: Ingredients: 1 package (10 ounce.) frzn raspberries, thawed 1 c. lowfat sour cream or possibly plain yogurt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Mix the raspberries with the lowfat sour cream and add in the cinnamon.
