Blt Salad
Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon, saute/fry till crisp, drain & crumble
- 1 med. size romaine, broken into bite-size pcs
- Option: can be mixed with iceberg lettuce
- 1 pt. cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 bunch broccoli (2 lb.) trim outer leaves, use flowerets
- 1 sm. red onion, sliced
Directions
- Layer in straight-sided glass salad bowl.
- Combine: 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. sugar
- Spread over salad; cover, refrigerateovernight. Reserve a tomato, floweret and some red onion for garnish. Add in just before serving. Toss lightly at table to coat
