Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon, saute/fry till crisp, drain & crumble
  • 1 med. size romaine, broken into bite-size pcs
  • Option: can be mixed with iceberg lettuce
  • 1 pt. cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 bunch broccoli (2 lb.) trim outer leaves, use flowerets
  • 1 sm. red onion, sliced

Directions

  1. Layer in straight-sided glass salad bowl.
  2. Combine: 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. sugar
  3. Spread over salad; cover, refrigerateovernight. Reserve a tomato, floweret and some red onion for garnish. Add in just before serving. Toss lightly at table to coat
